Overview

Synopsis: Rising Sun Pools & Spas hosts “Pool School” 2 times per year. Pool school is an opportunity for current and future customers to learn how to care for their pool or spa, while purchasing pool chemicals and parts from Rising Sun Pools.

Opportunity: Rising Sun Pools & Spas was spending money on advertising Pool School that directed customers to call the store to sign up for a no-charge slot to attend Pool School. Sign ups were approximately 75 individuals for the day across 2-3 pools school classes.

Solution: Viamark Advertising proposed a no charge electronic ticketing system so customers could sign up online as well as link the ticket opportunity through their email marketing and their organic social pages.

Benefit: The e-ticketing option immediately took off with the next pool school “selling out” of tickets. In future Pool School’s, Rising Sun Pools expanded ticket availability as well as the number of classes they offer. Attendance is now 300 people per event which is the maximum capacity. The advertising budget for Pool School has now been eliminated and those funds re-allocated to grow other portions of their business.
